Thursday, December 15th was a special day at Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Diggy Simmons was in the house spreading holiday cheer to our members, and talking with them about the importance of having goals and dreams, and making healthy decisions. He spoke about the Oath Project to Stop Bullying and didn’t stop there. He blessed our member with gifts and brought smiles to many faces. On this day, Kips Bay became Diggy’s House. Our Above the Influence team read the eight steps of the oath and pledged to stand up against bullying and work to make a difference.
“This young man is not only extremely talented. He is grounded and speaks with conviction. He has a huge fan base, but today, it was important for our members to hear his message beyond the music and the fame. He spoke about life and about treating others with kindness, and respect. He spoke out against bullying and encouraged our members to stay Above the Influence of negativity. Take the Oath with Diggy at www.facebook.com/SavingOurDaughters.com
