Youth of the Year: A Foundation for Great Futures
Youth of the Year is the essence of Teen Empowerment. Club members across the Nation ages 14 – 18 participate in year-round development and engage in healthy competition at the local club, state, regional, and national levels for the ultimate title of Youth of the Year. Candidates are those teens that have demonstrated good character, patriotism, and civic responsibility in all aspects of their lives. Winners at each level maintain their titles for one year and serve as the spokespersons for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. All candidates have the opportunity to win college scholarships and/or other financial rewards for participating.

UPS Road Code: What Can Brown Do for You?
Boys & Girls Clubs of America and United Parcel Service (UPS) have partnered to provide Road Code – a teen driving safety program that teaches our members the rules of the road and how to avoid distracted driving situations. Through instruction and practice on real-to-life simulators, our teens get to hone their skills in preparation for becoming responsible drivers.

Keystone: The Premier Teen Club
Keystone is the Boys & Girls Club Movement’s most dynamic teen program. Keystone is a chartered small-group leadership and service club for boys and girls ages 14-18. Keystoners elect officers and plan and implement their own activities in six areas: service to Club and community, leadership development, education and career exploration, unity, free enterprise and social recreation. Our Keystoners attend regional and national Keystone Conferences attended by thousands of Keystoners each year. BGCA’s Keystone initiative is funded by the Taco Bell Foundation. Over the years our Keystone club has captured numerous regional and state awards for free enterprise and leadership development.
