The Castle Hill Senior Center is a daily program in
existence for over 47 years serving the elderly for
our community. What makes Castle Hill so special
is the emphasis on making the program a “Home
away from Home.” The facility is opened
from 8am-4pm everyday, Monday thru Friday. We
provide a nutritional, educational, recreational, and
a social environment. Some of the activities
include Arts and crafts, latch-hook, quilting, painting,
ceramics, line dancing, exercise, walking programs,
swimming, lap-canvassing, knitting and crocheting,
monthly and weekly trips, bingo, pool, dominos, computer
classes, and health based nutrition topics. On
a daily basis we can service approximately 120 seniors.
In the past our senior travelers have visited places
like Bermuda, Alaska, Hawaii, West and South Caribbean,
Las Vegas, Wildwood, Lancaster, Puerto Rico and more. We
are also able to provide a social service component
to our seniors that will help with entitlements, or
any personal issues. Presently we have in place
visiting Nurse Services twice a week. The nurses
are able to assess the senior and provide the necessary
assistance that a senior and homebound, may need.
