Mr. Coudert is a retired Senior
Partner at Coudert Brothers, focusing on International & Corporate
Finance. In addition to being a member of various law associations,
in 1956 he was appointed Assistant US Attorney for the Southern District
of New York. Among his awards is the Honorary Award for Outstanding
Community Service from Theodore Roosevelt Bird Sanctuary, an affiliate
of the National Audubon Society.
Looking upon retirement as an opportunity to immerse himself in community
service, Mr. Coudert has served on the boards of numerous organizations
including the French Institute/Alliance Francaise, the Brez Foundation,
the Boys & Girls Club of Oyster Bay/East Norwich, the Oyster Bay
Historical Society, the Doubleday-Babcock Senior Center, Friends of
the Bay, Center for Marien Education
& Recreation at Oyster Bay and his own Frederic R. Coudert Foundation,
formed in 1998. He has been on the Kips Bay Board of Directors since
1964.
His other interests include music, primarily piano and keyboard, and
he has occasional performances and/or recordings, including MIDI interface
with computers. He has also collected extensive knowledge in developing
computer hardware and multi-program software on both Macintosh & Windows
platforms. |

Mr. Ross has been a board member since 1982 when Past President Charles
Martin Clark, Jr. introduced him to the Club. Mr. Ross was born in
New York City, raised in Fairfield County, CT, and completed his undergraduate
university degree at The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia
and his graduate university degree at Northwestern University in Chicago.
He served on active duty in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant. His
36 year business career has been in the financial community in New
York – first as a securities analyst, then as a director of credit
research, and most recently as a portfolio manager. In 2007, Mr. Ross
established his own investment company, Westover Asset Management,
LLC.
In addition to his involvement with Kips Bay, Mr. Ross currently is
a Board member of the Park Avenue United Methodist Church in New York
City, where he serves as the Treasurer and Portfolio Manager. In the
past, he has served as Class Agent and Assistant Class Agent for his
high school class at The Taft School in Connecticut. In addition to
serving on the Nominating and Resource Development Committees of Kips
Bay, he is the chair of the Finance/Investment Committee and acts as
the coordinator with the Club’s fund of funds manager regarding
the investment of the Club’s endowment. |

Mr. Quintero graduated
from Dewitt Clinton High School in 1978 and
he went on to Wagner College on a baseball
scholarship and ultimately graduated from
Lehman College with a Bachelor of Arts in
Health Education. Mr. Quintero signed a minor
league contract with the Kansas City Royals
in 1982. He played professional baseball
until 1984 inclusive of a stint in the Dominican
Republic. After concluding his professional
sports experience, Mr. Quintero taught fourth
grade for two years and Physical Education
for three years.
Dan then simultaneously worked as Phys
Ed Director for the Madison Square Boys & Girls
Club where he held several positions, Program
Director then Unit Director. Membership
grew to over 3,000 youngsters along with
providing comprehensive educational and
career services to many children.
In 1990 he joined the National Organization
and played an integral part in creating
over twenty three new Boys and Girls Club
in the Northeast region. In 1996 he took
over at the Kips Bay Boys &
Girls Club where he grew up as a child.
Since 1996 Dan has grown the organization with the construction of a sports complex, dental clinic and the new 30,000 square-foot facility in the West Bronx. |

Ms. Brown has an MBA from
Pace University, New York and a BA in English
and Education from SUNY at Stony Brook, New
York. She has extensive experience in youth
work, education and business and has held
positions of responsibility at firms such
as Bankers Trust Company, Citibank, AT&T
and Madison Square Boys & Girls Club.
Ms. Brown has consulted to numerous organizations
including the Women's Center at Essex County
College, New Jersey and Newark's Board
of Education Good Starts Program. She has
served on the boards of Bronx organizations
chartered to revitalize and redevelop the
community.
