Prepares our teenage members for the adult world by
providing programs that focus on life skills, including
job readiness, and college readiness/tours. We facilitate two specialized groups for our young men(The Men’s Group) and young women(SMART Girls) where we address gender specific that focus on
personal improvement while addressing issues pertaining
to relationships, health, peer pressure and decision
making. Through our Keystone Club, members participate
in leadership and character development while focusing
on community service and entrepreneurship. Every summer
we provide jobs for over 800 youths, ages 14 to 21,
through our Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP).
SYEP applications become available every April.
Additionally, we facilitate the Club Service Program
in which current members are able to receive financial
assistance towards their college education, through
volunteerism at the clubhouse.
In the spring, the Youth of the Year begins. Youth
of the Year is a local, regional and national competition
during which club members are recognized for academic
success, service to the club and community, and life
goals. Our winner goes on to represent Kips
Bay in Albany, New York, with the goal of achieving
the next level.
