Test Prep
Participants receive test prep from certified teachers during the after school program

Physical Recreation
Students participants in various sports intramurals basketball, kickball, wiffle ball, which focuses on living a healthy lifestyle.

P.S. 140 has a traveling Basketball team and cheerleading squad.

Members participate in Triple Play which teaches young boys and girls about healthy living and the importance of staying physically fit.

S.M.A.R.T. Girls is an program activity that P.S. 140 does with the young ladies in the program.

S.M.A.R.T. Girls teaches the members about bully prevention, building character and making healthy choices in addition to covering the changes the body makes as it matures.

Passport to Manhood
This program is for the 4th and 5th grade boys and it covers bully prevention, building character, community service, and leadership. Members progress is followed through journals and writing entries.

Social Recreation
Members compete in various games and activities that build social interaction and team work.

Music Program
Members create age appropriate songs in the after-school program

Members create the actual beats from scratch on the computer and also create the lyrics to the song with the help of the music instructor. Members get hands on experience with working with the computer and actual music recording.

ARTS & CRAFTS
Members receive instruction in creative arts, such as drawing, arts & crafts and fine arts. They develop social skills by interacting with their peers and present their work to their peers, community and through exhibitions. Members art projects are on display throughout the school.
