Nestled in Harriman State Park in Tuxedo, New York (approximately an hour from the Bronx), Camp Sebago is a multi-service day camp experience. Adjacent to Lake Stahahe, Camp Sebago affords the opportunity for campers to experience supervised water sports such as boating, fishing and safe swimming in unique and enclosed swimming cribs. The Recreation Hall hosts a variety of activities including performing arts, dance, workshops, games, and orientation on safety practices and camp rules and regulations. The Arts & Crafts building provides a serene environment that supports creativity. Campers enjoy painting, drawing and creating all forms of artwork including nature and environmental research and activities. Outdoor sports activities take place in the Basketball Court and Volley Ball Court. Campers are encouraged to partake in all outdoor physical activities to promote good health and overall wellbeing. A Ceremonial campsite allows for an array of activities including campfires, storytelling and team building exercises that promote trust and bonding. The full-sized Kitchen and Dining Hall, from time to time, provide the proper setting for Health and Nutrition workshops.
Camp Sebago aims to provide Kips Bay members with a positive experience in group activities. We will help each child to have a summer of fun and recreation and to develop physically and emotionally in an atmosphere free from tension.
