9th Annual Summer Cruise
Honoring Lana Lawrence and Anthony Lawrence-Belfair

On an incredibly stormy summer evening, the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club held its Ninth Annual Summer Cruise. On September 12, 2013, the Kips Bay Summer Cruise Committee Chaired by Charles Pavarini III, put on a spectacular event aboard the docked luxury yacht, the Cornucopia Majesty that included dancing, dinner, and live entertainment in addition to a special commemorative moment by Alexa Hampton honoring the life of Lana Lawrence and the Anthony Lawrence-Belfair Company. The event also showcased the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Performing Arts Club who did their rendition of the opening number of the Tony Award winning play, In The Heights . Alumna Kristina Gonzalez shared her Kips Bay story to the awe of the audience—how she had benefitted from the services provided at Kips Bay and is now giving back. Attendees enjoyed the food, drinks, dancing and the silent auction and a memorable time was had by all. All proceeds from this event benefit the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club.
