P.S. 36

The Kips Bay Clubhouse at P.S. 36 is an afterschool program that offers a variety of specialized programs designed to enhance and develop children both socially and academically.
The Clubhouse at P.S. 36 provides members with a safe space, both emotionally and physically, to dive into their interest and expand their knowledge outside of their regular school day. With programs like arts and crafts, iPads, physical and social recreation, even Dungeons & Dragons and LEGO Robotics, children in this program can grow socially and emotionally amongst their peers.
With a focus on socio-emotional learning, children are also able to gain an understanding of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club mission and our values through discussions, role playing activities, and group work. An understanding of our missions and values as an organization allows members to feel more involved and then inclined to positively reflect our values, mission, and the organization as a whole.
Members are greeted with a hot meal served daily, and an opportunity to be socially engaged among peers before activities.
