VOLUNTEER
The Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club welcomes candidates who would like to drop in for the day or attend regularly. Volunteers can participate in daily club activities, which include; spending time with the club members and providing them with positive life advice, helping children learn and improve their education and personal character & leadership skills, while having fun.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Athletic Program: Support our members in various sports by serving as a coach, referee, or umpire.

Tutor: provide afterschool homework help to our members throughout the school year.

Beautification Project: Help clean-up and improve Club facilities to prepare for the upcoming school year.

Holiday Events: Help with set-up and clean-up or particapate as a costume judge, face painter, gift giver, or games runner.

Performing Arts: Mentor our young performers, help with stage props, set design, lighting, and more.

Mentor: When you mentor a child you become a hero in his or her eyes. The positive influence from a mentor can help a child achieve academic successes, create a healthy lifestyle and build good character and citizenship. (Must dedicate at least one hour/week.)
