In the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon today!

2026 Event Date: Sunday, November 1st, 2026
​
2026 marks the 50th anniversary of the five-borough New York City Marathon course, as well as Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s third year as an official charity partner of the New York Road Runners. Our organization is very excited to have a team represent our organization in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.

Kips Bay is currently selecting 11 individuals to represent our organization at this year’s event. Our organization looks forward to once again contributing to the impressive legacy of the New York Road Runners and the TCS New York City Marathon.
​
On race day, our runners will be following the event’s 26.2 mile course through the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. With every mile, the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club Runners will be supporting the delivery of time-tested youth services across our 12 Bronx locations.
AS A KIPS BAY BOYS & GIRLS CLUB RUNNER WE WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH:
​
• A guaranteed slot in the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.
• Fundraising support from Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s expert staff.
• A personalized online fundraising page, maintained by our organization.
• Posts highlighting you and your story on Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club’s social media accounts.
AS A KIPS BAY BOYS & GIRLS CLUB RUNNER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
​
• Registering for the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon as a member of out team.
• Completing all required NY Road Runners requirments within their online portal.
• Reviewing and signing off on the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club Runner agreement.
• Maintaining communication with Kips Bay staff in the months leading up to the 2026 event.
• Training and preparing for participation in the 2026 event.
• Individually fundraising in support of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club via social media posts, local promotion, etc.
• Meeting Kips Bay’s fundraising goal of $5,000 by our deadline, October 24, 2026.
• Securing all needed travel/ lodging accommodations to ensure you are able to successfully participate in the 2026 event on 11/1/26.
